Background

The iconic Imperial Hotel Blackpool is a Grade II Listed large Victorian
Red Brick building built in 1867.

The hotel suffered a ceiling collapse in 2021 to their stately Palm Court
Restaurant which projects forward from the main façade leaving the
restaurant and spa below exposed to the full force of storms from the
Irish Sea resulting in damage to the integrity of the structure. Permission
was granted to fix the listed building.

  • Remove & replace eroded stone balustrade columns
  • Reinforce cracks to walls with steel Heli bars
  • Replace broken stonework to match existing
  • Remove & replace eroded coping stones
  • Leadwork
  • Restoration and redecoration to all windows & bays
  • Investigate water penetration to & restore and treat rainwater goods
