Here in the heart of Fleetwood, our works consist of carry out roof repairs, brickwork and stonework repairs, rainwater gutters and pipework repairs and chimney repairs. Also to remove existing external aluminium shutters, mesh frames and metal cladding to shopfronts; allow for making good of stonework and brickwork to fixing locations with in situ mortar. This project, along with the former HSBC building, is due to finish at the end of May 2023.

Background

Along with the Former HSBC Building, this was another fabulous project undertake by Aura Heritage LTD.This building dates back to the early 20th century and sits along other impressive listed buildings.

Our vital conservation works include:

•••Removed existing signs, CCTV,fixtures and fittings and made good.•Carefully removed cracked/damaged clay tiles and replaced with matching clay tiles.•Replaced stone lintels.•Racking out and repointing brickwork by hand.•Chimney, arch and gutter repairs.•Steelwork treatment.•Replacement windows, screens and lights.•Replacement of shopfronts and doors including stall risers with new decorated shopfronts.•Finishes to external walls and ceilings•Insulation, fire stopping and protection.•Decoration to existing stone surfaces.•Above ground drainage.
